About This Event
Our biggest volunteer day of the year is back! We're heading to Pugu Hills Forest Reserve on June 21st for a morning of tree planting, community connection, and environmental action. Volunteers will plant indigenous species including Croton macrostachyus, Brachystegia spiciformis, and Terminalia trees along a restored riparian corridor. All tools, seedlings, gloves, and a packed lunch are provided. This is a family-friendly event — children aged 8 and above are welcome with a parent or guardian. Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and bring a water bottle. We'll finish by noon with a community gathering, refreshments, and a short briefing on our environmental impact to date.
What to Expect
- Plant indigenous trees along a restored riparian corridor
- Meet and work alongside 500 like-minded volunteers
- Learn about Tanzania's forest ecosystem from our environmental team
